Tokyu Food Show

Tokyu Food Show (beneath Shibuya station, 2-24-1 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) – despite its name, this is actually a restaurant located below the popular Shibuya’s Tokyu department store. This is a food court (nicknamed depachika in Japanese) that offer a variety of food items popular with local commuters, such as Sakurambo Vert (green tea with a Japanese cherry flavor), pastries from Andersen Bakery, Origines Cacao by chef Yukihiko Kawaguchi, the well-regarded Maisen tonkatsu sandwiches, imagawa-yaki (a sweet griddle cake filled with a sweet red bean paste or custard), and takoyaki (octopus balls), along with typical Japanese staples like sushi, sashimi, yakitori and tempura. There is also Seijo Ishii, a high-end supermarket featuring domestic food delicacies as well as imported items.
